Apply a little (no more than a pea-size) Organic Face Cleanser morning and evening with the wooden spatula provided, and massage deeply into your skin and around the eyes with your fingertips. Rinse well after a few minutes with a face cloth, muslin or cotton wool, organic if possible, and follow with Inlight Floral Face Tonic.
To use as a make up remover, apply a small amount of the product onto a cotton wool pad and simply wipe away the make up. Inlight Face Cleanser is safe to use around the eyes. (And before you reapply, we highly recommend our Organic Daily Face Oil as the perfect makeup base).
Each jar should last approximately 4-5 months, depending on usage and skin type.
You might find tiny white granules of condensed shea butter in our skin food. This is a happy sign of the nature of our raw ingredients and they will melt on application. Enjoy!

Cleansing the face is the first step in maintaining good skin hygiene. Our Organic Face Cleanser has been designed to deeply cleanse your skin and remove all traces of makeup whilst simultaneously respecting the physiological and acidic characteristics of the skin.
Coconut oil is both nourishing and cleansing with its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties that are vital in achieving a thorough and effective cleansing of the skin. The formulation includes a blend of nourishing oils (coconut oil and shea butter), those rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids (evening primrose oil, sesame oil) together with the soothing properties of olive oil and jojoba oil which promote skin elasticity.
Herbs reinforce the formula with: astringent (green tea, lemon, cypress), stimulating and toning (ginger), anti-inflammatory and cytophylactic (lavender), antibacterial and purifying (clove buds, rosemary). The product also has a mild exfoliant action that assists in a deep skin cleansing by removing the outer layer of dirt and dead cells. The result is glowing, toned and rejuvenated skin. Inlight's Organic Face Cleanser is suitable for people with any skin type, including those with reddened skin, acne, rosacea, inflammation or darker patches from sun damage. It is particularly good for teenagers affected by spots and blackheads.
Inlight Face Cleanser is made by hand in small batches. Each jar has a shelf-life of 28 months, and should last approximately 4-5 months depending on usage and skin-type.

As this is oil based and I am a make-up artist at first I was a bit suspicious for the rich texture. I was worried that it might clog pores and cause blemishes but its quite the opposite-my skin is blemish free and pores are smaller. It doesn’t dry out the skin and removes waterproof eyeliner and mascara. This product has simplified my evening routine, as there is no need to use a separate make-up remover. I like this cleanser because it is completely natural and does not dry or congest the pores. It is rather expensive but worth every penny. Little goes a long way. It even removes make up. I met with Dr Mariano back in May and he gave the most in depth skin consultation I could have ever imagined (with some life changing advice). He didn't push his products, but I really wanted to try them as I'm a bit of a natural skincare nerd. It really has turned around my skincare routine for the better. The balm is so smooth and melts when on the skin, smells amazing and leaves my skin with a glow. I remove with the floral tonic at night and it leaves a slight residue which I'm happy to sleep in. I just refresh with the tonic in the morning and need nothing else. Perfect!

I found that this cleanser was able to get all of my make-up off. I've been using the Inlight products for years now. I'm a ginger with sensitive skin prone to react to foods, weather, caffeine, wine and even mood changes. Skin care was a nightmare. Most skincare made my skin come up in an instant flush, making me look terribly sunburnt. I have been using these products for the last ten days, i cannot rave about them enough, what fantastic products i absouloutely adore the facial cleanser, such a little goes a very long way, it has made a dramatic difference to my skin, it has helped clear up my spots and made my slightly dry skin feel silky smooth, i used this daily morning and night along with the floral face tonic, i just used the tonic at night as i wanted to conserve it for as long as possible, the face tonic has the most divine scent and left your skin feeling very soft whereas a lot of other toners i have tried can leave your skin feeling very dry and tight, its amazing how much better my skin feels. It does at first seem a little strange to be cleansing your skin with an oil based product, but as with the principle of homeopathy where ‘like cures like’, I’ve thought of this as ‘like cleansing like’ instead.
