During pregnancy, gently massage a little balm into the breast every day, working outwards from the nipple in a circular motion.
After feeding, gently massage a tiny amount of balm onto the nipple area. Where there are cracks, nyp balm can be applied as often as required in between feeds.
There is no need to wash the nipple or breast before feeding, as the product, being 100% organic and entirely free from synthetic chemicals, is safe for babies and does not alter the taste of maternal milk.
With its high proportion of calendula, Inlight's nyp balm is also very effective for nappy rash. Keep a tube in your nappy bag and gently apply a small quantity to baby's dry bottom after every change.

Unlike most nappy rash and nipple creams on the market, Nyp Balm is not diluted with water (hence the use of the word “balm” instead of “cream”): We are committed to providing you with only the purest, naturally potent, but kind products, which work with your skin, not only on it. For cracked or sore nipples, or nappy rash, we can’t recommend Organic Nyp-balm enough.
Whilst many nipple creams may be an effective treatment for damaged, sore nipples, they may not be conducive to the natural breastfeeding process. Inlight Organic Nyp Balm, however, does not alter the flavour of maternal milk and won’t interfere with the bonding process between you and your baby. There is no need to wash it off between or prior to feeds. We also recommend using Organic Nyp Balm during pregnancy when the breast undergoes changes provoked by new hormones. Suitable for all skin types and vegetarians, all ingredients in Nyp Balm are food grade, do not alter the flavour of the maternal milk and are easily tolerated by babies.
