Summer Top Tips

Enjoy the sunshine and let your skin feel the benefit. But be kind to yourself and follow my little easy tips to be happy from head to toe!

After being in the sun:

Soothe: Dampen your body with warm water and some cider vinegar with a few drops of lavender essential oil (2 teaspoons of vinegar, 3 drops of lavender essential oil, and 500ml of water)

Freshen: Unclog your skin pores, then tone and refresh with Inlight Floral Face Tonic, our alcohol-free blend of organic floral waters chosen for their toning and astringent qualities (rose & cornflower water) and lenitive properties (lavender & chamomile water)

Feed: INLIGHT organic Body Oil with Arnica, rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E (i.e.:Evening primrose oil, with its regenerative and antioxidant properties) will be heaven for any possible heat rash. You should always be careful in the sun, and never over do it. However, if you, or a loved one does get sun burn this summer, our Organic Body Oil is ideal for preventing peeling.

Internally:

A) Drink lots of water and squeeze in a few drops of lemon to regain your mineral balance.

B) Eat carrots and broccoli, preferably raw: This will help you to get the right antioxidants to promote skin regeneration.

My advice is, as always, to choose organic products with naturally occurring antioxidants and no synthetic chemicals.
